Dr Brendan McMullan is a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist and Microbiologist, working at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and a conjoint senior lecturer in the School of Women’s and Children’s Health at UNSW. His research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and resistance, perinatal infections, and infections in immunocompromised children and young people, with particular interest in using surveillance data in these populations to support implementation of effective strategies to optimize therapy.

Dr McMullan is willing to supervise ILP Students completing the UNSW MD program (formally MBBS).  However he is unable to supervise Masters and PhD Students at this time.
