Banafsheh Moradmand Badie

Research Officer

Banafsheh is a project officer in National Drug and Alcohol Research Center (NDARC). She is currently working on Post Released Naloxone (PRN) study. She has a Medical Doctorate (MD), a Masters in Public Health (MPH) and PhD in Epidemiology and Public health. She has more than 10 years experience as a medical and public health researcher and 5 years working experience as a clinician. Her PhD research focused on illicit substance use and risky sexual behaviour in adolescents. Her main area of research is epidemiology of HIV positive patients, including HCV/HBV co-infections, prevention among people who injecting drugs and prisoners, follow up and assessment of valvular heart disease using Echocardiography, management and monitoring antiretroviral treatment and management and treatment of mental illnesses. Also, she has a clinical research experience in breast cancer.
