Library Services

The UNSW Library provides all kinds of support to UNSW students. They also provide specific support for Postgraduate students and those who are studying by distance. Visit the following links to find out more.

Please watch one of the Medicine Outreach Librarians, provide an overview of library services available to postgraduate students.

Research Consultations

Postgraduate students are able to have a research consultation with a librarian if you are looking for scholarly information related to your research topic or area of research, unsure whether you have located all relevant resources or wanting assistance to identify and search the Library's specialist databases. Fill in the Research Consultation Online Booking Form to book an appointment. Appointments are available in person or online during business hours 9am - 6pm (last available appointment at 5pm). Distance Students can participate in a research consultation online with screen sharing software - More information here. Please book your research consultation well in advance. Postgraduate Study Space

The library has a dedicated space for Postgraduate students only on Level 4 of main library. The space is open during Main Library opening hours. Study desks, computers and printers are available. Study Rooms are also available but need to be booked online. More information HERE

Services for Distance Students

The UNSW Library provides a service for distance students in providing assistance with accessing and obtaining library resources in a timely manner. Please complete the Off-campus Registration Form to be eligible for this service. If resources are not available online this could involve the library sending you books in the mail or emailing you a journal article.
