UNSW Medicine continues to host webinars and workshops to support our higher degree research (HDR) students. A Faculty panel shared practical tips about self-care, motivation, staying productive and physical distancing. Our students also participated in an HDR thesis writing workshop series co-facilitated by UNSW Student Academic and Career Services. Read more and find resources from these events. 

UNSW Medicine HDR Q&A

The HDR team held a second Medicine HDR Q&A yesterday. The cohort was welcomed by Associate Professor David Simar, Associate Dean of Postgraduate Research Training who was joined by a panel that included Roisin Trainor (UNSW Health Promotion), Catherine Marley (UNSW Medicine Health and Wellbeing Coordinator), Kristin McBride (UNSW Medicine Research Infrastructure Manager), Kate Johnson (COO of NeuRA), Lucy Jones (Director of the Graduate Research School), Simon Kalucy (Manager Research Candidature, Graduate Research School).

HDR Thesis Writing Workshop Series

The Faculty co-facilitated the first HDR Thesis Writing Workshop Series with UNSW Student Academic and Career Services (SACS) over three weeks in May and June. Workshop materials are now available to everyone as a reference:
