The Bachelor of International Public Health (BIPH) is a new program available fully online which is designed to build and strengthen the international public health workforce.
This unique experience immerses the student in a virtual global classroom, with students from Australia, the US and around the globe, allowing you to study when and where you want. The BIPH is an international collaborative degree program not currently available anywhere else in the world, and it aligns with the same recognised accreditation as on-campus public health degrees.
This innovative degree includes coursework from two of the world’s leading universities – UNSW Sydney (the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, SPHCM) and Arizona State University (ASU) as part of the PluS Alliance, embodying its core principle – to develop solutions to global challenges with social impact.
Providing access to PLuS Alliance partnerships, it has strong recruitment pathways, global academic networks and industry partners.
It offers essential global public health knowledge and skillsets to equip you for professional opportunities in a wide range of local and global contexts, as well as to transition to a higher degree, including graduate medicine, Master’s program, or PhD.
The BIPH is designed to build and strengthen the international public health workforce to help offset a projected shortfall of 18 million health workers worldwide. It reflects 21st century best practice on transforming public health education using online learning in an increasingly globalised world.
