Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) make a difference by working with patients to prevent and manage chronic diseases and injuries. Using tailored exercise programs and lifestyle change programs, AEPs treat a wide range of clinical conditions from physical injuries to cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancer, mental health, and renal conditions.
The UNSW Bachelor of Exercise Physiology program is delivered within the Faculty of Medicine and places a strong emphasis on the medical sciences and clinical training. Students are given the opportunity to interact with other programs within UNSW Medicine. Our Lifestyle Clinic also brings together some of Australia’s most innovative teams of healthcare professionals and researchers working to improve patient outcomes and community health through lifestyle changes.
